To say that Seymour Kushner is an avid music fan would be quite an understatement. Mr. Kushner has made it his point to physically attend many of the world’s biggest and best music events. This may seem like a stretch to the casual music lover, but Seymour Kushner is not the casual music lover, by any means.
Seymour Kushner’s musical tastes range from Middle Eastern to jazz music. He embraces modern dance music as well and has witnessed many of the world’s best dancers in person. These dancers include the likes of Twyla Tharpe and Mark Morris and others. The humble publishing and recording company owner is passionate about music and the effects it has on lives.
Seymour Kushner on Famous Jazz Clubs
He has made it a point to attend many of the famous jazz clubs in the country. The Blue Note, Village Vanguard and the Jazz Standard have all been attended by Seymour Kushner. He loves to take in music live and will travel many distances to attend an event. This is the dedication and love that he feels for music. Seymour Kushner would not call his love of music a hobby but an integral part of his life. The memories of these events will last a lifetime and he has many, many memories.
One of the greatest and favorite events that he has attended was the post 9/11 concert for New York City. This was a star studded event with many artists that lasted well over 6 hours. Seymour Kushner, upon hearing a lineup of the Rolling Stone, Elton John, The Who and Jay-Z, knew he had to be there. And there he was, taking in a string of some of his favorite artists in Central Park, New York City.
